Very well done video. The public needs to understand that the vast overstocked conditions of our western forests are the main reason why mountain pine beetle and other forest pests are so extensive and intensive. Please keep up the good work in Colorado. The mountain pine beetle is a significant problem here in the Black Hills but we still have a forest products industry that is able to mitigate much of the outbreak. Unfortunately our worst outbreak is in a wilderness area right next to Mt Rushmore. We have been encouraging the Park Service to aggressively address this problem through direct and indirect treatments. They appear to have listened and are now putting together a strategic plan.

Beautiful land, my father grew up there. Went to the one room schoolhouse.
Then moved to Butte to go to Butte High. He graduated in 1950 and was one of the Silver B’s. Butte High Bulldogs! I wish I could afford this!
