Two High-Quality Colorado Ranches Hit Auction Block in Late June

On Tuesday, June 28th at 10:00 am MT, Hall and Hall will be auctioning the 12,088± acre Cucharas Ranch located seven miles east of Walsenburg, Colorado. The following day at 10:00 am MT, Rocking R Ranch, a 235+/- acres equestrian ranch 16 miles north of Boulder will come on the auction block. To learn more about these auctions, please contact Hall and Hall Auctions at 970-716-2120 or visit http://hallhall.com/ranches-for-sale/pstatus/upcoming-auctions-52.

Crisscrossed by four deep irrigation canals, Rocking R Ranch is self-sufficient with irrigated Brome grass hay meadows and premium equestrian facilities, including a 36,400-square-foot indoor arena, a state-of-the-art horse barn with a stainless steel vet room, an equipment shop, hay barn, outdoor arenas and multiple ancillary buildings. There are four residences, including two large, well-appointed homes, and two guest houses. The property will be offered in five tracts and combinations. An inspection date is scheduled for Wednesday, June 15th at 9-11am & 1-3pm.

“Rocking R Ranch is one of the finest equestrian estates available in the Rockies today,” said Shuman. “The facilities are world-class, and in an area of Colorado nationally recognized for its equestrian influence, it is a unique turn-key opportunity.”

Offered in three tracts and combinations, Cucharas Ranch is adjacent to the Maria Reservoir in the rolling prairies and arroyos of the Colorado Front Range on the eastern edge of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Mesas reaching up to 6,500 feet yield not only hunting and aesthetic value but also winter protection for a year-round cattle operation.  The Cucharas River and grama short-grass prairieland are the significant features of this exceptional property. An inspection date is slated for Tuesday, June 14th at 10am – 12pm.

“It is rare to find a hunting, recreational, working cattle ranch of this size with such good access and multiple uses,” said Scott Shuman of Hall and Hall Auctions.
