No one came close on the Rate, the Term, or the Funding Fees

I could not be more thrilled with the service and help I received from Hall and Hall. Specifically, I worked with Alex Leamon. To start with, the real estate agent recommended a local Credit Union as his “go-to” for getting land deals done. When I mentioned I might shop around after hearing the CUs rates, the agent voiced some concerns regarding “outsiders” who might lack familiarity with the area and who might, therefore, drag the process out – the appraisal in particular. My real estate agent could not have been more wrong. Alex was exceptionally knowledgeable and timely. In fact, Alex would check in regularly, prompting me for timelines from the title company in order to get the appraisal done more quickly. When the time came to close, we had waited almost two months for the title company and seller, and Hall and Hall were ready and prepared to close.

Alex is an exceptional agent. This was my first experience of this type, and he took the time to explain the process, make me comfortable, and he did his job well. It’s obvious he enjoys what he does. I have recommended him and his company to some of my dearest friends and would recommend him to anyone for that matter. As for rates and terms, I shopped many companies and in many states for my property. No one came close on the rate, the term, or the funding fees. The local CU that was recommended to me would be much richer as a result of my business than what Hall and Hall are making off of me. But I would still pick working with Alex with higher rates because of the quality of service and help that I received. If you are worried about where to source your loan, don’t be.
