As you drive to Spring Creek Canyon Ranch, you will encounter fertile dryland farm fields caressed around the field edges with steep native rangeland canyons sporadically covered with trees, most of which are cedar and ash. The ranch has livestock water throughout, with pipelines and wells supplying water to livestock and the abundant wildlife. The two homes are centrally located on the ranch but still a half mile apart to provide seclusion. You get a remote and big feeling from the ranch while it is quiet and peaceful.

Spring Creek Canyon Ranch is forty-two miles south of North Platte or just over twelve miles from Maywood. From North Platte, travel south on US Highway 83 to Maywood, then nine and a half miles west on Hayes County Road to County Road 379. At County Road 379 junction, the ranch is just one mile south. Maywood provides the basic amenities, including schools, while North Platte will have all major amenities, including commercial air service.
Frontier County, Nebraska, is largely an agriculturally based county that is also known at length for some of Nebraska’s top hunting destinations, and Spring Creek Canyon Ranch is no exception. You will get the small-town friendly atmosphere with locals all giving you a wave from their trucks as you pass them by.

Improvements include two homes. The first is a brand new 1,728± square foot three-bedroom, two-bath stick-built home with an attached 1,080± square foot garage. The second home is a 1,780± square foot three-bedroom two, two-bath modular home. The ranch also has two sets of cattle corrals.
The ranch has numerous submersible groundwater wells and one solar well that supplies water throughout the ranch. Three separate underground water pipelines also service the ranch. The ranch also has several small stock dams.
All seller-owned mineral rights are conveyed to the buyer.

Frontier County holds some of Nebraska’s finest mule deer hunting, and this ranch is no exception. The combination of farm fields with wooded canyons and varied topography provides an excellent habitat to a variety of wildlife, including both whitetail and mule deer, turkeys, pheasants, bobwhite quail, prairie chickens, sharp-tail grouse, coyotes, and bobcats.
