Harding County, South Dakota is steeped in cattle ranching history. The area is known for the great cattle and cowboys, along with some of the best ranch horses in the world. The area has also become a great destination for wildlife enthusiasts, but most notably the numerous complete Tyrannosaurus Rex skeletons that have been found. The Hell Creek Formation makes up a good part of Harding County and is world famous for the types of fossils found.

Harding County, South Dakota is well known for world-class fossils, including Tyrannosaurus Rex. A full skull of a T-Rex has been found on the ranch and leads the imagination to what else is to be found. The ranch is part of the Hell Creek formation, which has produced some of the world's oldest and most valuable fossils.
The ranch headquarters are located along the highway providing good access. The ranch house has been tastefully updated through the years and the outbuildings are in excellent shape. Improvements include: 1,000 square foot ranch home built in 1940.
The ranch has numerous ground water wells including windmills, solar, and electric wells. Also, there are several stock dams and seeping springs along with seasonal creeks.
