The property, built for entertaining, hunting and raising livestock, has a 10,000-square-foot main lodge
Chapel Ridge Ranch, which gets its name from the outdoor church the seller built on one of the highest points of the property, is between Bridgeport and Jacksboro on the outskirts of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro.
“The property is contiguous, and it’s all in Texas,” said listing agent Layne Walker of Hall and Hall, who put the home on the market on Tuesday. “It’s one of the larger properties in the area. Properties of this size are hard to find so close to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex—you can be there in a little over an hour.”
The ranch includes a 10,000-square-foot furnished main lodge, a 4,000-square-foot party barn, five houses for staff and guests, two horse barns and an equipment barn.
Other elements include a professional-grade shooting range, over 15 miles of improved rock roads, more than 20 ponds, several all-weather creeks and water wells.
