A farm and ranch auction in Loveland, CO headed up by Scott Shuman and Hall and Hall Auctions set a new high price for a key northern Colorado water supply. The sale of land and water rights of the Sekich family’s farm brought in $15,545,920 million, with roughly $13 million spent on water rights. There were 96 bidders and 250 people in attendance. One unit of water from the Colorado Big Thompson project went for $65,867, a new record for the project.
