Montana Stockgrowers held its Annual Convention and Trade Show in Billings, MT December 11-13. Hall and Hall was proud to sponsor the kick-off social event held at the Northern Hotel.
"Over 4,500 acres, the plantation includes more than 1¼ miles of frontage on Lake Miccosukee. The ranch has 14 quail hunting routes, 10 horses and a dog kennel with 49 dogs including English cocker retrievers, pointers, derby dogs and puppies. They could be included in the sale. The property also includes Lake Thompson, which is known as a good spot for duck hunting, according to the listing.“It is a bird hunters’ paradise,” said listing agent Elliott Davenport, Jr. of Hall and Hall."
Nebraska is well known for the Sandhills. It is also well known as a great cattle producing region and is home to the top three cattle producing counties in the United States. However, little is known about Nebraska’s elk hunting. Hidden within the river valleys of the Sandhills and Pine Ridge area of western Nebraska is a population of elk that are flourishing. With the combination of crops and cover, Nebraska is growing them big.
