The year started with a bang and never slowed down. We were excited to market over 75,000 acres in 10 states through the auction method of marketing.
The past year was unusual for everyone -- Hall and Hall Auctions included! Our auction team was busy throughout the year and worked on projects from Hawaii to Virginia. Like most auction firms around the country, we were forced to cancel or postpone several auctions in the spring due to restrictions on crowd size and other safety requirements.
Over 150 bidders attended the 11,831 acre Texas Farm and Ranch Auction on November 14th in Athens, TX. Seven of the 45 registered bidders prevailed in a spirited competition for 16 tracts. The auction totaled $24,034,970. Negotiations are proceeding on remaining parcels.
