Jim Fryer
Jim joined Hall and Hall, complementing a fulfilling career in risk management and global commodity merchandising, including assignments in Cargill’s key overseas operations. He was raised on classic Northern Rockies cattle and recreation properties with an eye for effective operations and maintaining the beauty of our American West. He completed a double major in Animal Science and Agriculture Business, followed by an M.S. in Agriculture Economics at Colorado State University. Jim enjoys sharing an active outdoor lifestyle, including skiing, horseback riding, hunting, and fishing with family and friends. He also volunteers by instructing local youth equine activities. He recently sat on an advisory committee to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and was a previous chairman of a National Cattlemen’s Beef Association committee.
