PARADISE VALLEY, MT (December 16, 2021) – Arthur M. Blank’s AMB West Holding Company today announced the acquisition of approximately 6,300 acres of deeded and leased land in Montana’s Paradise Valley, just north of the world-famous Yellowstone National Park. Terms were not disclosed. Previously known as Dome Mountain Ranch, the new property will be rebranded in the coming months to represent its future purpose and use cases which are likely to include destination hunting and fishing in addition to offering guests close access to other recreational opportunities on the ranch and surrounding areas, including the national park. Like Blank’s other properties in Montana, the new ranch will be managed with the highest ideals of conservation and environmental stewardship. Blank’s purchase expands his portfolio of ranches in the valley that includes Mountain Sky Guest Ranch, West Creek Ranch and Paradise Valley Ranch.
The current Dome Mountain Ranch is located in southern Paradise Valley and is bordered by just over 4.5 miles of the Yellowstone River. Adjacent to National Forest Service land and contiguous with the 932,000 acre Absaroka/Beartooth Wilderness, the ranch features three trout-stocked lakes and prolific wildlife, most notably an elk herd with trophy bulls, cows and calves that frequent the ranch’s aspen groves. Moose, deer, grizzly and black bears, mountain lion, bighorn sheep, antelope, wolves, bobcats, eagles, geese, falcons and many other forms of wildlife can all be found on the ranch as well. Over the years, the ranch has been featured extensively by travel and destination media, as well as numerous outlets serving the hunting and fishing communities. “This new ranch is absolutely breathtaking, and we are thrilled to add it to our portfolio of properties in Paradise Valley,” said Blank. “While we develop a new brand for the ranch and define how it will be utilized going forward, I assure our friends and neighbors throughout the valley that through that process, and in the years operating it that follow, caring for this precious land and its natural resources will be of highest priority just as it is at our other ranches in the valley.
