11,000-acre Colorado cattle ranch hits the market for $23.5 million

The Rockin D Ranch, located near Byers, Colorado, includes approximately 11,252 deeded acres along with about 960 acres of Colorado State lease land, according to a listing from Hall and Hall.

For livestock producers, one of the ranch’s defining features is its water infrastructure. Hall and Hall says the property includes 14 wells, numerous dirt tanks and ponds, catch ponds, and seasonal creek flows. Portions of West Bijou Creek and Rattlesnake Creek cross the ranch, along with several miles of Mule and East Gulch drainages.
