Ainsworth, population 1,728, is the county seat for Brown County. Ainsworth provides all amenities, including health care. The area provides endless opportunities for recreation and sports, including golf, fishing, hunting, canoeing/kayaking, boating and hiking. The Sandhills Area of Nebraska is blessed with many great golf courses, including Prairie Club Resort and the local Ainsworth municipal course, which is just a few miles from the property. The reservoir is filled by the Ainsworth Irrigation Canal and then pumped out of the reservoir for the center pivot. The pumping station is all electrical. The reservoir provides great recreational opportunities is large enough for jet skis, and the property comes with a paddle-boat.
