Hall and Hall Partner, Bill McDavid, inherited his love for travel from his grandmother. Recently, he spent Christmas in Cuba, touring through the country from Havana to Trinidad and Viñales. Montana Stockgrowers held its Annual Convention and Trade Show in Billings, MT December 11-13. Hall and Hall was proud to sponsor the kick-off social event held at the Northern Hotel.

Nebraska is well known for the Sandhills. It is also well known as a great cattle producing region and is home to the top three cattle producing counties in the United States. However, little is known about Nebraska’s elk hunting. Hidden within the river valleys of the Sandhills and Pine Ridge area of western Nebraska is a population of elk that are flourishing. With the combination of crops and cover, Nebraska is growing them big.

The IX Ranch added some color to its historic horse herd this year. These dun-colored registered Quarter horse colts are the result. For 60 years this Montana legacy ranch has raised its own working cow horses. Their 25-head remuda is supported by six foals a year from eight foundation broodmares and the new Plenty Dun, double-bred Hancock stallion.

Last Saturday, Hall and Hall played sponsor to the Big Sky PBR, arguably the biggest event in the Big Sky Resort. The toughest bull riders in the world were matched with the meanest bulls to see who comes out on top, and who ends up in the dirt. The bulls were victorious once again this year in a series of exciting matchups. This year, Hall and Hall teamed up with Yeti as corporate sponsors.
