Texas media is buzzing about Gearhart Ranch, a gorgeous West Texas ranch and successful highland cattle operation for over 100 years, which just hit the market.
The Dallas Morning News wrote, “The sprawling cattle ranch has everything from savanna grasslands to 6,800-foot-tall peaks and ridges.”
The Dallas Business Journal said, “The property, which has been a working cattle ranch since 1890, has hit the market at $30.45 million. Amid rolling, pastoral terrain, Gearhart Ranch offers an eight-pasture livestock management plan, in addition to a system of eight wells that feed 46 troughs across the property.”
The Austin Statesman noted, “Only 10 miles away and not quite as long ago, the classic Texas film “Giant” was filmed on a nearby ranch with James Dean, Elizabeth Taylor, Rock Hudson among other classic movie stars.”
The Midland Reporter penned, “With a price tag of $30,457,953, Gearhart Ranch is one of three big properties on the market in the Trans Pecos region of far West Texas.”
Additional coverage has been written by Houston Business Journal, Laredo Morning Times, The Fayetteville Observer, The Columbus Dispatch, and Ag Daily.
Livermore Ranch, also listed with Hall and Hall, is adjacent to Gearhart Ranch and offers the rare opportunity to snatch up nearly 14,000 contiguous acres of beautiful West Texas land.
