A massive hunting ranch in Oklahoma that’s like a private kingdom has just been listed for $15.5 million and includes a collection of exotic wildlife.

The sellers, business partners Madison Scott, a serial entrepreneur, and Michael David, a financial adviser in wealth management, bought the property for $5.15 million in 2020, according to the Atoka County assessor’s office.

The duo, who live in Amarillo, Texas, own other ranches and were looking to add to their portfolio when they came across this one.

“We were blown away by the topography,” said Scott, adding that they saw it as a business opportunity and as a place to hold family gatherings. “And the fact that there are 29 ponds and a river on the back side.”

It’s unusual to come across such a large tract of land in Oklahoma that doesn’t have patches in the middle that are owned by others, said Brett Grier of Hall and Hall, who listed the ranch last week. “It’s a truly irreplaceable recreational and legacy property,” Grier said.

He said that the fact that it can be used for corporate retreats and other events is a bonus that offsets the cost of ownership.
