The Rapelje Bison ranch consists of approximately 15,950 deeded acres plus a 640± acre state lease. As the name suggests, this highly productive grass ranch has been home to nearly 1,250 bison. The current ownership has liquidated the herd and has chosen not to stock the ranch for the 2021 grazing season. This has allowed the pastures to be rested during the current drought.
