N Bar Ranch

The Salt Sage Coulee Ranch has been owned and operated by the Goffena family for over 80 years. This productive and well-managed grass ranch includes 10,240± acres of which approximately 8,426 are deeded, 1,000± acres of BLM lease, and 800± acres of state lease. The ranch is predominantly native range. The ranch includes several old homesteads and the original townsite of Kelley, Montana, of which part of the grain elevator remains. Numerous springs have been developed, wells drilled, several artesian wells, and reservoirs built over the years. The ranch is home to mule deer, antelope, and seasonal elk, as well as sharptails, Hungarian partridge, and sage grouse. Good water, strong native grass, and open winters make this a great livestock ranch and hunting property.
