N Bar Ranch
Grass Range, MTSteeped in the history of the American West lies the N Bar Ranch spanning more than 60,000± contiguous acres in the foothills of central Montana’s Snowy Mountains, 100 miles north of Billings, Montana.
There are very few ranches in south-central Montana with such extraordinary features as Shane Ridge Preserve. The combination grass and scattered pine ranch is conveniently located to both Billings, with its mainstream amenities and attractions, and Red Lodge, the gateway to Yellowstone National Park via the beautiful Beartooth Highway. The ranch is void of any buildings thereby allowing an owner complete control of the location, quality and design of any desired improvements. With views of four major mountain ranges, the ranch is one of the highest points between the Yellowstone River and the Beartooth Mountains. There is plenty of forage on the approximately 1,334 acres to go around. The stout grass can easily support a small cattle ranch while at the same time provide a sustainable food base for deer and elk. Being in south-central Montana is an open invitation to explore and indulge in many of this country's treasures: hunting, fishing, hiking and agriculture.
